Illinois Early Care and Education Services Map: shows early care and education services sites in the state. Services include Preschool for All (PFA), Head Start, licensed child care centers, licensed-exempt child care centers, and family child care homes.

Child Care Assistance Program Data: provides data by different geographic regions, such as state, county, school district, etc., on the number of children receiving assistance from CCAP, as well as the number of centers and homes receiving CCAP payments.
The Kindergarten Individual Development Survey (KIDS) is an observational tool used within Illinois classrooms to understand the developmental readiness of children entering kindergarten. Social emotional, language & literacy, and math are the key areas of development that are measured when using KIDS. Annual reports are uploaded onto the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) website, which breaks down statewide measurements of kindergarten readiness and other demographic. Excel sheets are available for download to view individual school district results.

Reports are available for each school year, dating back to 2005. Data is available by school district and individual school, with Pre-K and K-12 enrollment rates, as well as demographic data.
The Illinois Department of Human Services provides a report every fiscal year on the status of the child care program in Illinois. Some data included is funding streams, expenditures, CCAP enrollment, child care demand, and much more. Reports are available as far back as Fiscal Year 2018.
Birth to Five Needs Assessment:
In 2022, the Birth to Five Region 19 Action and Family Councils worked to identify gaps and needs for children and families through community input and data. Two assessments were created as a result.
